Man-o-man did it ever!
I've taken "Efan" (My wife) to it every year since it's inception she loves meeting the players and getting her belongings signed by the players. This year she wanted to get Brian Westbrook's autograph. So I drove her 120 miles (both ways) just to get an autograph for her.
So on to the bitchin'.....
First off the venue is way too f'in small to hold all those people. I got there at 11:00 and I was one of the last ones to get a table! But it only got worse. By noon it was standing room only and I had some dumb guys butt right next to me while I was trying to eat. Oh yeah, that was pleasant! :furious:
The Eagles organization expected a lot of people and they did planned something new this year... F'in tickets for autographs?! :furious: If you didn't get a ticket, you couldn't get an autograph. Who idiotic idea was that? To top it off, they didn't TELL ANYBODY BEFORE HAND!!
sdown: Some notice about limited availability to the players would have been nice! I then would have made plans accordingly. Why didn't the Eagles use a lottery type instead of a first come first serve poilcy? At least that way this stupid ticket idea would have had the appearance of fairness.
We were waiting for an hour for the players to arrive, like we've done every other year to get into line. That's when we learned about the "new ticket" idea. By then the Eagles organization had stopped distrbuting them and we were @#%$-outa-luck. I was pissed and Efan was so dissapointed she actually cried. I just want to smack whoever planned this little idea right upside the head.
The Eagles organization did not plan this event well at all considering the turnout they expected. More information should have been available on this new poilcy and the really shouldn't have it at Jillians anymore, it's gotten too big.
